Homecoming Tent

Noon–2:30 p.m., Tennis Courts (20th Street Entrance)

Paul Burgoyne, Esq., ’70, President of La Salle’s Alumni Association, invites everyone to join faculty, Christian Brothers, students, and fellow alumni for the Homecoming Party in the tents on the tennis courts. Bring your family and friends to see new and familiar faces. Stay for a bite to eat and create Homecoming memories. Afterward, join the La Salle community for the La Salle Explorers men’s basketball home season opener vs. the University of Delaware Blue Hens.

Giving Back at Homecoming: Cell Phone Collection to Benefit Lasallian Service Trips
This year, members of La Salle's University Ministry and Service will be collecting used cell phones (Just the phones no accessories or chargers) at Homecoming.  If you have any cell phones that you no longer use and would be willing to donate, all proceeds go to the Lasallian Service Trips.  This year the La Salle service trips are Blackfeet Montana, Project Appalachia, Equipo Esparanza (Dominican Republic), Habitat for Humanity, and Project Mapendo (Kenya).  All contributions are greatly appreciated!

Kidsfest for Families

Traditional activities continue at Kidsfest, including face painting, a moonbounce, and putting greens, sponsored by the President’s Cup Golf Tournament. Be sure to check out the Philadelphia Zoo’s presentation, “Zoo on Wheels,” an interactive exhibition of some of the most fascinating animals, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

La Salle Men's Basketball Season Opener
3 p.m., Gola Arena, Hayman Hall

After the Homecoming festivities in the Party Tent, cheer on the La Salle Explorers as they take on the University of Delaware Blue Hens.

Alumni and guests are $20. Children 12 and under are free. Game Ticket $10 per person. Sign up online by clicking the registration button above. Walk ups are also welcome.
 
Campus Tour
1 p.m., Tour departing from the Homecoming Tent

Join a guided tour of La Salle’s beautiful campus, including West Campus, The Shoppes at
La Salle, and the renovated and expanded Holroyd Hall, featuring the Hugh and Nancy Devlin Center for Science and Technology, constructed from environmentally friendly materials and upgraded with renovated research laboratories. These tours will be led by La Salle Ambassador students.

Art Museum Tour
Guided Tour: 1 p.m., Museum Hours: Noon–3 p.m.

Tour the La Salle University Art Museum’s collection of art from the 15th century to the present, featuring “Howard Tran: Drawings and Sculpture.” This exhibition features Tran’s most notable two dimensional, abstract works.
