This years "Shining Stars" are alums who have earned tremendous success in public relations, journalism, mass media, and communication management. Beth M. Foley, '97--Senior Director of Corporate Communications, Pacific Gas and Electric Company
Foley is currently Senior Director of Corporate Communications for Pacific Gas and Electric Company, a San Francisco-headquartered Fortune 200 energy company that serves 1 in 20 Americans. She leads corporate communications for several lines of the utility’s business as well as brand, advertising, content strategy, channel management/social media and multicultural media.
Ralph Garman, '86--Actor, Radio Personality and Voiceover Artist
Ralph can be heard every weekday morning on Los Angeles' number one-rated morning radio program, THE KEVIN AND BEAN SHOW on KROQ-FM, as their celebrity impersonator, character voice actor, and host of his comic entertainment news report, the “Showbiz Beat”.
Jerry Lezynski, '82--Managing Director, Marketing and Communications, SEI Advisor Network Solutions Team
As a 20+ year veteran at SEI Investments, Jerry Lezynski is responsible for the overall strategy, development, and execution of marketing and communications initiatives for the company's independent investment advisor distribution channel. These initiatives include market understanding, research and strategy, PR and Thought Leadership, general and crisis communications as well as lead generation programs and overall packaging around SEI's wealth management solutions.
Paul J. Perrello, '79--News Director & Anchor, Westwood One (WPHT-AM)
Since 1996, Perrello has supervised the Metro Networks-Westwood One news department in gathering, writing, producing and broadcasting newscasts for affiliate stations. He also anchors newscasts and provides breaking news coverage on affiliate stations including WPHT. He has also produced and hosted special news programming including the opening of the National Constitution Center, Live 8 and The President’s Summit for America’s Future.
