September 13, 2012, The Disciplinary Board

Jane G. Penny

The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania announces the appointment of attorney Jane G. Penny to serve on the Board for a three-year term. Penny previously served as a Hearing Committee member.

The Disciplinary Board is an independent agency funded by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, consisting of thirteen members: eleven attorneys and two non-lawyers from across the Commonwealth. It assists the Supreme Court in carrying out its exclusive jurisdiction over the licensing and discipline of attorneys in Pennsylvania. The members meet regularly to decide cases, policies and board administrative matters.

“I am honored to be appointed to the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania,” said Penny. “All of the members take their responsibility to the Supreme Court, Pennsylvania attorneys and the public very seriously, and I will work hard to match their level of dedicated service.”
