George L. Weber, D.O. ('77), Re-Elected to Statewide Medical Association's Board of Trustees
George L. Weber, D.O., F.A.A.F.P., of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was recently elected to serve on the board of trustees of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association (POMA), a statewide organization for physicians holding the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
Board certified in family practice with a certificate of added qualifications in geriatrics, Dr. Weber maintains a private practice in Philadelphia and is a staff physician at Nazareth Hospital. A fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Dr. Weber serves as a delegate to the POMA and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Weber is a graduate of LaSalle University and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his postgraduate training at Delaware Valley Medical Center in Bristol, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Weber was elected a trustee-at-large during POMA’s 106th Annual Clinical Assembly, held April 30 - May 3, 2014, at the Valley Forge Hotels and Convention Complex in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The Assembly attracted over 1,550 physicians, residents, interns and medical students, plus family members.
Headquartered in Harrisburg, POMA is the official voice for over 7,000 osteopathic physicians in Pennsylvania.
