CENTREVILLE, Delaware, May 30, 2014 – MacElree Harvey, Ltd. is pleased to announce that Patrick J. Boyer, Esq. has joined the firm as an associate in the family law department.
Mr. Boyer’s practice focuses primarily in the area of family law. He is knowledgeable in matters relating to divorce, property division, alimony, child custody and visitation, child support, and domestic violence. In addition, Mr. Boyer can assist clients with issues involving guardianship and third party visitation. He is licensed in Delaware and Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Delaware State Bar Association.
Before joining MacElree Harvey Ltd., Mr. Boyer clerked for the Honorable Michael K. Newell and the Honorable William L. Chapman, Jr. in the Delaware Family Court in New Castle County for a period of 16 months. While attending law school, he participated in a family law clinic, where he assisted individuals with family law issues. Mr. Boyer was also president of his law school’s Federalist Society chapter, and has interned in the White House and in a US Senator’s office. A graduate of LaSalle University (B.A., magna cum laude, 2009), Mr. Boyer earned his law degree from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 2012.
