ENTER THE WORLD OF THE HIRING MANAGER 

On October 17, 2011, Jim Sykes, ’83, Group Director and Business Partner, Human Resources, Cardinal Health, provided insight on effective communication skills to help alumni go beyond online postings for job search. Sykes also focused on helping alumni prepare for an interview by learning how to understand the needs and culture of hiring managers, how to successfully manage phone screens to get an in-person interview, and discovering how to handle objections and difficult scenarios.
